2. Study TIME
in Unit 6 of the Ventures Book, Level 4, page 70-73



FOCUS ON GRAMMAR "ALTHOUGH" Note that we also say "Even though".
This is called a "CLAUSE OF CONCESSION"

Examples:

Although it's less expense to take the subway, I usually take a taxi.
or
Even though it,s cheaper by bus, I usually use a car service.

We will also compare the use of although and because. Because is known as a clause of reason.






3. LET'S TALK

We will talk about technology and how this helps you or hinders you. Perhaps it also annoys you.
How do you feel when a friend is looking at their iPhone while you are having dinner together?
Does your partner, friend or spouse spend too much time on their iPhone or tablet?

How about time saving appliances around the home, such as microwaves, dishwashers, and blenders.
Are they helpful? Efficient? Do you use them? Why or why not?
