1. Review of Field Trip to New York Historical Society
How was the visit to the EXCLUSION/INCLUSION Field Trip?
Did you complete your presentations last week with Katherine?
2. LIBRARY VISIT and CHOOSE A BOOK FOR THE REST OF THE SEMESTER.
You will complete a short review of your book to be handed in on Week 8 of class, Saturday March 21. The Book Review form is attached here:
Notice how the paragraph is arranged. The opening sentence (also called the "topic sentence") covers all three methods the writer uses to reduce and manage stress. Then each idea is expanded into a complete sentence detailing the stress reducing technique.
On page 53, look at sections C and D. We will do section C in class.
Section D, think about three ways that you can reduce stress. organize your thoughts into three "bullet points".
Section 2: WRITE. Compose a paragraph which talks about three stress reducing methods. Use the bullet points described above, and also compare your work to the paragraph on page 52.
You will begin this writing in class and can complete for homework. We will read our stories next week.
