REVIEW THE READING: Challenger Book 6, Unit 1. "HEALTHY FOOD, HEALTHY FAMILY"
Check answers to the questions in Exercise 1.


Review and discuss the VOCABULARY highlighted at the beginning of the article.

Discuss the two questions at the top of Page 11:

Do you know someone who needs to lose weight and become healthier? What could you tell that person (maybe it's you!) that might help him or her to make smart choices.

How can parents set a good example for being healthy. Name three things that parents can do to to help their children lead healthier lives.


2. We will discuss the field trip to the New York Historical Society. Groups will present to the class.

CLASS WILL TAKE 20 MINS TO PREPARE PRESENTATIONS. EACH GROUP WILL HAVE 5 MINUTES TO PRESENT.

We will conclude with a general discussion about the theme of the exhibition, namely the inclsusion and exclusion of certain groups in society.
